PRESENT PERFECT – Tanz im Moment
A new full-length dance performance by MyWays & Guests
We’re thrilled to share our latest work: a poetic exploration of time, presence, perfection, and change — performed by dancers between 62 and 82 years of age.
In PRESENT PERFECT, improvisation meets structure, and lived experience becomes movement.
Each performer embodies her own rhythm of time, creating a mosaic of moments — fragile, humorous, and profoundly human.
The title refers to the English tense “present perfect” — translated into German as “vollendete Gegenwart”, the “completed present.”
What began in the past continues to shape the now.
The piece invites audiences to witness how memory, transformation, and presence intertwine in every gesture.

Swarm movements and intuitive togetherness — a moving collective without prior agreement.
From this shared field emerge moments of rupture, individuality, and self-expression.
What interests us most is presence: breathing bodies in relation to space and to one another.
The film was shot in July 2025 with dancers from my 55+ dance training group.
